Every couple of month, the Tiergarten Gemeinde has a Gemeinde Essen. Everyone brings a potluck dish to share. We always get a variety of food, and plenty of it. Today was no different. There is a flurry of activity on the kitchen immediately following the block of meetings. Everyone sits down to eat and visit with one another. When done eating, everyone starts to clean up. We usually end up in the kitchen helping with the dishes. A lot of fun is had while cleaning up. You really get to know people as you work beside them. I think this is a good tradition. We in America should do this with our wards. It really promotes togetherness. I will miss the Tiergarten Gemeinde Essens. I will miss the Tiergarten Gemeinde.
